Connie Ryan

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio Connie is one of 10 children. She has been married to her husband, Dan for 28 years and together they have three grown children, DJ, Katie, and Laura. Connie taught herself to play the guitar at the age of 11, and began singing and playing in church shortly thereafter. Finding the Lord at camp one summer in 1974 however, set her life on a new path as she began a personal walk with Jesus!

Since that time, God has been using Connie to pen the words and melodies of His heart, giving her songs to comfort the broken, and reach out to the lost and wounded. Connie's desire is to guide the Body of Christ into deeper worship and to minister to people through music.

Not coincidentally, the songs on Connie's newest CD, His Voice, are all about healing and hope. In March 2005, God spoke to her heart at a women's retreat one morning saying, "Create a CD that will minister to the Bride...help her to heal." It is Connie's prayer that these songs will help people to lay down 'self' and enter into something much greater - a resting peace in the presence of the One who created them and Whose desire is to show the depth of His love.


Statement of Faith

  • I believe in one God Who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
  • I believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, was crucified, died, buried, and resurrected, and ascended into heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
  • I believe the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
  • I believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal happiness of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
  • I believe in personal salvation of believers through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
  • I believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and I believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
  • I believe in divine healing, through faith in the Name of Jesus Christ, and that healing is included in the Redemption.
  • I believe in water baptism, in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, in speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4), in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit.
  • I believe that all of these are available to believers.
  • I believe in the Christian's hope - the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
