Isaiah 40:31 Ministries

To 'wait' on the Lord...this word has more meaning than one might initially realize. The Hebrew word for wait is qavah, meaning to bind or gather together, perhaps by twisting. Figuratively it means to wait for, or on something. As a servant who waits for instruction from the master, or waits on the master in service and love. According to this beautiful passage, we are strengthened by waiting on our Lord.
The heart of Isaiah 40:31 Ministries is to strengthen the Body of Christ by gathering together to release worship in spirit and truth - waiting for, and on, the Lord. The Lord challenged Connie with a bit of a spin on a familiar Hollywood movie line that says, "If you build it, they will come..." saying instead, "If you will worship, they will worship!" Therefore, as a worship leader Connie believes her role is to be an instrument of worship, and that if she will simply come before the Lord and worship, the people will do the same.
Isaiah 40:31 Ministries is committed to facilitating an atmosphere for deeper worship, exemplifying authenticity and freedom, and leading by example. Worshippers are encouraged to express themselves in dance and movement, prophetic utterance, and spontaneous song.
Come with us and wait on the Lord - be renewed to soar on wings like eagles, to run and not be weary, to walk and not be faint...
